Located in Williamson County, Illinois sits this secluded recreational outdoor oasis. When I first entered this property, I was greeted by several deer who appeared curious. I immediately noticed the established trail system that lead me through the first timber stand and out to a thicket with a stand of young trees and various pollinators and shrubbery. As I worked around the property there was no shortage of deer sign consisting of trails, scrapes and rubs. I ran into several groups of deer scattered throughout the property to conclude my observation that this is a great whitetail farm filled with cover, habitat and browse. Switching gears, I continued into the timber and my mind started to see turkey sign. I saw several trees that would be excellent for roosting and noticed feathers near scratching sites. As I worked through the property, I ran into two small clusters of turkey with one having two long-bearded toms. What else could this farm hold?

I continued my observation of this farm and found several clusters of mature timber. I found oaks, persimmon and other nut producing trees. Working through the farm there were several stand sites and potential food plot locations to add to all this property has.
